What is a skin allergy test?
A skin allergy test is a test to see if you are allergic to a hair dye. Some people have food or drug allergies. Similarly, although not often, some people are severely allergic to a hair dye. Also, like other allergies, a poor health condition may allow a hair dye to trigger skin irritation for those who have never experienced it before. Therefore, always perform a patch test two days before dyeing your hair.
Directions
Prepare a skin allergy test mixture/cream. Mix a specified amount of Solution 1 and 2 using a cotton swab.
Apply the mixture/cream to the inside of the arm and wait for 48 hours. Take the mixture/cream on the cotton swab, apply it lightly to the inside of the arm as if drawing a circle , about the size of a $1 coin and let it dry naturally. Make sure to keep clothes away from the arm until the mixture dries.
Check 30 minutes and 48 hours later.
You may dye your hair if you do not experience itchiness or swelling within 48 hours.
